Recruitment Day advice for candidates
If your potential new employer and workplace is located in another country, then arranging a face-to-face meeting can be challenging. Yet it is still an incredibly important step in the assessment process – the formal interview simply cannot be overlooked.
To make this as convenient as possible, many employers ask you to go to a recruitment day in the UK. The day is normally attended by the short list of candidates, but it is very unlikely you will take part in any kind of group interview or activity.
A recruitment day gives you a great opportunity to find out more about the medical facility and the vacancy. It also allows you to talk about your motivations and career goals to the hiring managers, so you can both be satisfied that the situation is right for you.
