The Opportunity
As Chairman, you will be responsible for the overall strategic, clinical, academic, and operational leadership of Cardiac Care Services. Working closely with executive leadership, you will oversee the continued growth and development of a world-class cardiovascular program while fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
Candidate Requirements
- Board-certified Cardiologist or Cardiac Surgeon.
- Eligible for Consultant licensure under Dubai's Tier 1 qualification pathway.
- Fellowship training from a recognized international institution.
- Currently serving, or having previously served, in a senior clinical and/or executive leadership capacity within a world-renowned academic medical center, quaternary care institution, or internationally recognized cardiovascular center of excellence.
- Experience gained at elite institutions such as Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins Medicine, Cleveland Clinic, or other globally recognized leaders in cardiovascular medicine and surgery will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated success in leading large-scale cardiovascular programs, multidisciplinary physician teams, service-line development, quality improvement initiatives, and academic or research activities.
- Strong track record of clinical excellence, physician leadership, and organizational impact.
- Academic achievements, publications, research involvement, and teaching experience are highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for all cardiovascular services.
- Lead the development and implementation of clinical and operational strategies that support organizational goals.
- Drive excellence in patient outcomes, quality, safety, and patient experience.
- Oversee physician engagement, succession planning, and professional development across the cardiac service.
- Promote innovation, research, education, and evidence-based practice.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to identify growth opportunities and expand cardiovascular services.
- Represent the organization nationally and internationally within the cardiovascular and healthcare community.
- Ensure compliance with international standards, accreditation requirements, and best practices.
