The Role
The Consultant will provide expert clinical care in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, managing complex cases including malignant and non-malignant blood disorders. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient care, safety, and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology
- Diagnose and manage pediatric cancers and hematologic disorders
- Lead and participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and case discussions
- Develop individualized treatment plans in line with international best practices
- Supervise junior medical staff and contribute to education and training initiatives
- Participate in quality improvement and clinical governance activities
- Engage in research and academic activities where applicable

Qualifications and Requirements
The following qualifications are accepted:
- UK/Ireland CCT/CCST
- American Board Certification (only approved boards by American Board of Medical specialties accepted)
- Canadian Fellowship (RCPSC) with 3 years post board experience.
- Fachartz (German Board)
- 3 years post qualifying experience at a full consultant level
- GMC Specialist Registration (No Malpractice issues)
