Country Sales Leader, Medical Imaging

Senior Manager position, heading up successful, dynamic sales team across Poland, working with innovative medical imaging solutions in the hosptial environment

A global organisation in the medical technology and diagnostic imaging sector is seeking an experienced Country Sales Leader to lead and develop its sales organisation in Poland. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving national sales strategy, developing a high-performing team, and ensuring delivery of ambitious commercial targets across the market.
The Role

As Country Sales Leader, you will be responsible for leading the national sales organisation, translating business strategy into actionable sales plans and ensuring strong execution across the country. You will oversee regional sales performance, coach and develop sales leadership, and build strong relationships with key strategic customers and stakeholders within the healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop and manage the national sales organisation to maximise performance
  • Provide leadership and oversight to the National Sales Manager and wider sales team
  • Define sales strategies, account plans and targeting approaches across the market
  • Monitor national sales performance and coach teams to achieve revenue targets
  • Translate business plans into sales campaigns, activities and territory strategies
  • Lead and support strategic negotiations with key accounts and stakeholders
  • Contribute to pricing strategy, market development and customer retention initiatives
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitor activity
  • Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
  • Ensure effective use of CRM and business intelligence tools across the team

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience as a national or regional sales manager within MedTech
  • Previous experience leading and developing sales teams
  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems and complex stakeholder environments
  • Proven success negotiating in multi-stakeholder healthcare settings
  • Excellent leadership, communication and coaching skills
  • Degree in Life Sciences, medical, scientific or pharmaceutical field preferred
  • Business or management qualification would be advantageous

Additional Information

This is a national, field-based leadership role requiring regular travel across Poland and attendance at European meetings and industry events.
