A fantastic independent practice in Clacton-on-Sea with all the equipment and facilities you could ask for are looking to expand their team!

A long-standing independent practice based in Clacton-on-Sea are looking to expand their team of ten very experienced vets, who have a wide range of interests and further qualifications, fourteen RVNs, and a large team of receptionists and admin staff. The team is incredibly supportive, and like having case discussions. They can be flexible with regards to clinical interests to an extent, as the practice sees a very varied caseload, including BOAS / cruciates, and has the facilities and expertise to deal with it all in-house.

The main branch, for example, has seven consult rooms and two surgical theatres, alongisde a new ultrasound machine, digital radiography, video endoscope, tonometer, slit lamp, ECG, comprehensive in house lab, imaging suite, dental suite, microscopy, blood sampling, and full surgical kit for soft tissue and orthopaedics. In addition, the practice has been accredited with ISFM Silver and RWAF Silver status.

Key Duties

• 4 day week (2x 8:30am-5:30pm and 2x 9am-6:30pm
• Hour allocated for lunch and 2x 45 minute breaks in morning and afternoon for reporting results/admin/reviewing cases
• 1 in 4 Saturday mornings til 12pm
• No emergency on-call.

Package and Benefits

• £32,000 - £65,000+
• 5 weeks holiday plus bank holiday
• Uncapped CPD, will just pay for anything including certificates if have a case for it
