Full Time Optometrist

A well established, independent practice is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Optometrist to join their team in Caithness, North Scotland on, preferably, a full time basis.

This is a great opportunity for a qualified or nearly/newly qualified Optometrist to join a successful independent practice and really progress your career!

You will be based within a friendly modern practice, fitted with all the latest equipment, along with high end, high quality frames and contact lenses. With up to 40 minute test times, the practice prides itself on offering exceptional patient care. They have developed an excellent reputation within the local area with a loyal client following.

If you are looking for an opportunity to progress your Optometry career and have real ownership over how you practice Optometry, then this could be a great opportunity for you to become part of a highly organised team.

The ideal candidate for this position will be someone who is passionate about Optometry, really cares for their patients and wishes to endeavour to provide the highest level of primary care, keen to work with the Practice Managers and Practice Team to grow and build on the practice's existing success.

Location

The practice itself, located in the historic, coastal county of Caithness, is a beautiful place to live. it's quiet and peaceful but with everything you need. It has a low crime rate and is a safe place to bring up a family.

Key Duties

• 37.5 hour week, Monday to Friday with absolutely no weekend work!
• Be an enthusiastic and passionate team player
• Work with a range of high end frames and quality lenses
• 30-40 minute testing times
• The ability to balance both the clinical and commercial aspects of the role.
