A large, established GP practice in Lower Hutt, within the Wellington region, is seeking additional GPs to join its supportive, internationally experienced team. With approximately 26,500 registered patients at the time of the recruitment meeting, a multidisciplinary team and purpose-built premises, this is an opportunity to build a longer-term future in New Zealand.

The opportunity

• Permanent GP role, ideally eight sessions per week.
• Salary of up toNZD $228,000 per year for a Fellow working eight sessions, subject to confirmation.
• Five weeks' annual leave and NZD $1,750 annual CME allowance.
• Specified professional registration and related fees paid by the practice, subject to confirmation.
• Structured induction, access to multiple supervisors and weekly CME meetings.
• Flexible session templates and a collaborative, internationally experienced team.

A working pattern to understand

The practice provides extended access, with a late shift generally around once every five to six weeks, shared weekend cover normally around two days per quarter, and regional after-hours shifts approximately one to one-and-a-half times per quarter. Regional after-hours shifts and eligible additional weekend work are paid separately. The roster is planned ahead.
