As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimising advanced medical systems in clinical environments. You'll work independently in the field, while being fully supported by a strong technical and regulatory infrastructure behind you.
This is a field service role so you will travel around the region carrying out service, maintenance and repair on products used in hospitals. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, variety, and being the technical expert customers rely on.

The Opportunity
As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimising advanced medical systems in clinical environments. You'll work independently in the field, while being fully supported by a strong technical and regulatory infrastructure behind you.
This is a field service role so you will travel around the region carrying out service, maintenance and repair on products used in hospitals. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, variety, and being the technical expert customers rely on.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Repairing, servicing, and maintaining complex electronic and mechanical medical devices
- Performing preventive maintenance, annual checks, and calibration in line with MDR requirements
- Installing new medical systems at customer sites
- Delivering software and hardware upgrades
- Providing technical training to customers and internal teams
- Supporting regulatory actions such as field safety notices and product recalls
- Managing service documentation with accuracy and attention to detail
- Ensuring full traceability of field-based systems through reporting tools
- Acting as a trusted technical advisor to hospital staff
- Collaborating with customer service teams to plan and schedule site visits
- Escalating technical issues and contributing to continuous improvement
About You
You're an analytical, customer-focused engineer who takes pride in delivering high-quality service in demanding environments.
You'll bring:
- A degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or Technology
- At least 1 year's experience working with medical electronics
- Experience working in hospital or healthcare environments
- Strong mechanical aptitude alongside technical problem-solving skills
- Confidence working in operating theatres and clinical settings
- Solid IT skills (administrative and technical)
- Fluency in Dutch and English
- A valid Netherlands driving licence

Target package:
- €45-58k base + 7%bonus
- Company vehicle and corportate package
