Fantastic New Part Time Independent Optometrist role based near Maidstone offering generous base salary up to £60,000 with no weekends.

This independent Opticians is looking for an Optometrist to join their practice on a part time basis mid-week only.

Established over 30 years ago, this practice prides themselves on providing excellent levels of patient care to the local community with their extended test times of 40/45 minutes and state of the art equipment including an OCT!

All pre-screening is also to be completed by the Optometrist for the patients to feel a real continuity of care

This role is for 2 days a week mid week only, flexible on shift patterns and days.

Operating single clinics, this role is suited to those who are confident sole testing but also open to applications from all levels of experience

Key Duties

• Testing eyes to 40/45 minute test times including your own pre-screening
• Some contact lens work required
• Available to work any two days a week Monday - Friday
• General working hours are 9am - 5pm with the last test usually booked at 4.40pm
• 40 minute lunch break

Package and Benefits

• Base salary £45,000- £60,000 pro rata depending on experience
• Statutory Pension
• 4 weeks holiday + bank
• Other benefits can be negotiated with the Director

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• GOC Registered
• Right to work in UK
