We're working exclusively with a progressive, purpose-built small animal practice in North West London that has quickly established an outstanding reputation within its local community. Built around the belief that both pets and their owners deserve a calmer, more personalised veterinary experience, this practice has invested heavily in its facilities, team and culture to create an environment where both clinicians and patients can thrive.

Due to continued growth and a recent vacancy within the veterinary team, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join this close-knit, supportive practice.

The Role

This opportunity would suit a Veterinary Surgeon with at least one year's UK small animal experience who enjoys building lasting client relationships and taking cases from start to finish.

You'll benefit from 20-minute consultations, allowing you the time to fully investigate cases, communicate thoroughly with clients and practise medicine to a consistently high standard, without feeling pressured by an overloaded diary. This unhurried approach is central to the practice's philosophy and has helped develop an exceptionally loyal client base.

The role consists of:

• Four-day working week (minimum 30 hours considered)
• 1 in 3 Saturdays (9:00am-3:00pm)
• Sole charge limited to weekends only
• Flexible consult-to-surgery split depending on your interests
• No requirement to work across multiple sites

The practice has cultivated a loyal and predominantly insured client base who are happy to pursue gold-standard diagnostics and treatment plans. This means you'll enjoy genuine case continuity and the opportunity to work up the vast majority of cases in-house rather than referring externally.

Alongside an experienced permanent clinical team, a dedicated orthopaedic surgeon visits the practice twice weekly, allowing for an impressive range of surgical procedures to be performed on-site.
