Prospect Health is recruiting for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon, with the option to step into a Clinical Lead position, at a modern small animal practice in Trafford Park, Greater Manchester.

The Role

- Flexible weekday shifts
- 1 in 4 Saturdays, 9am - 6pm
- Time back in lieu for Saturday working
- No out-of-hours
- Shared bank holiday rota
- Scope to tailor working patterns around the right candidate
- For an experienced Vet looking to progress, there is also the opportunity to take on a Clinical Lead role with greater responsibility for supporting the wider veterinary team and helping shape clinical standards within the practice.
About the Practice
You will be joining a modern, purpose-built small animal practice with a strong emphasis on teamwork and clinical development.

- Ultrasound
- Full in-house laboratory
- Dental X-ray

- Multi-parameter monitoring
- Drip pumps and syringe drivers
- Patient warming equipment

- Internal medicine
- Cytology
- Acupuncture

About You
We're looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who is confident across a general small animal caseload and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team.
You will ideally:
- Be confident with routine medicine and surgery
- Enjoy building strong client relationships
- Value teamwork and collaboration
- Be keen to develop your clinical interests
- Have an interest in further qualifications or certificate study
- Be comfortable supporting less experienced colleagues
- For the Clinical Lead opportunity, previous leadership experience would be useful, although applications would also be welcomed from experienced Vets ready to take the next step.
