Job Summary

My client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of pharmacology, patient care, and medication administration, particularly in critical care settings such as ICU. The Pharmacist will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide optimal pharmaceutical care

Key Duties

Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards. Provide expert advice on medication therapy management and patient care. Conduct thorough medication reviews to identify potential drug interactions or contraindications. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient-specific medication plans. Educate patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and health management strategies. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, patient profiles, and medication inventories. Stay updated on new medications, treatments, and best practices in pharmacy care.

Key Skills and Qualifications

GPHC Registered Pharmacist in the UK

Strong knowledge of anatomy and pharmacology, particularly in relation to ICU settings. Proven experience in patient care and medication administration is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly to patients and colleagues. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in dispensing medications. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team while also demonstrating independence when required. Independent Prescribing Certification Vaccination Trained PGD Certificates
