Prospect Health is delighted to be working with a prestigious university-affiliated government hospital in Dubai that is seeking a talented and experienced Consultant Pediatric Anesthetist to join its expanding team. This hospital forms part of a progressive, research-driven healthcare system renowned for its commitment to medical education, clinical excellence, and innovation in patient care.

The Role:

This position offers the chance to work within a centre of excellence providing high-quality pediatric anesthetic services across a full spectrum of surgical specialties. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to teaching and academic activities, and play an active role in shaping the next generation of clinicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, evidence-based anesthetic care to pediatric patients across elective and emergency settings
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, intensivists, and nursing teams to ensure optimal outcomes
• Participate in clinical education, mentoring, and research initiatives
• Contribute to quality improvement, patient safety, and departmental leadership

Requirements:

• Recognised specialist qualification in Anaesthesia (e.g. CCT, FRCA, American Board, Canadian Fellowship, Australian or equivalent)
• Subspecialty fellowship or significant experience in Pediatric Anesthesia
• Minimum 3-5 years of post-specialist qualification experience
• Eligibility for consultant-level registration in the UAE
• Demonstrated commitment to teaching, research, and service development
