This well-established client operates across multiple locations in Scotland. In this Prescribing Pharmacist role, you'll have the opportunity to deliver exceptional healthcare to the wider Dunfermline community.
*Independent Prescriber qualification is essential*
All branches are supported by checkers and centralised dispensing, giving you more time to focus on patient care.
- As the IP, this is a fantastic chance to dedicate your time to the service you've worked hard to provide, as part of Pharmacy First Plus - with an additional supplement paid for delivering this enhanced care.
- Prescribe medications in line with the legal framework and professional guidelines, ensuring they are appropriate, effective, and safe for the patient.
- Make decisions about drug therapies based on clinical judgment, taking into account patient preferences, allergies, comorbidities, and other medications.
- Monitor the effectiveness and safety of prescribed therapies, adjusting treatment plans as required.
Package and Benefits:
- Hours of work: Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm, alternate Saturdays 9am - 5pm = Av. 44.5hrs p/w
- Basic Salary £56,500p/a + IP supplement - rising at 6 month review upon delivering KPI's
- 4 weeks holiday + BH
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- MUST be a qualified Pharmacist with GPhC registration
- MUST be IP qualified (or awaiting annotation)
