Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production plans to maximise resource utilisation and meet agreed production schedules and quality standards
- Monitor production activity to ensure material flow is aligned with operational requirements
- Adjust schedules to accommodate backlogs, design changes, and material or labour shortages
- Plan the day to day allocation of work orders to production lines to achieve targets safely and cost effectively
- Prepare and release work orders and purchase requests in line with the agreed production schedule
- Estimate the human resources, tools and equipment required to manufacture products
- Evaluate production specifications and plant capacity data to determine manufacturing processes and calculate machine and operator loads
- Analyse production data to ensure material flow supports schedule adherence
- Apply structured root cause and problem solving methodologies to investigate non conforming processes
- Contribute to a safe, compliant and positive working environment
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across planning and operations
- Undertake additional duties as required by management
Package;
- £39,000 to £44,000 basic plus bonus

Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- 3 to 5 years' experience in production planning, scheduling or a related manufacturing operations role
- Strong understanding of manufacturing capacity planning, resource management and material flow principles
- Demonstrated experience working closely with supply planning and production teams
- Proficiency in ERP and production planning systems
- Strong analytical capability with a structured, data driven approach
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across functions
