Please read on for more details on a surgery in the Newhaven area seeking a Salaried GP with excellent remuneration

The role is with a group of practices who have been running practices in the Sussex area for a number of years, however you would be based solely at their location in Newhaven. The role is at a surgery which has undergone a number of changes recently and are looking for someone to come in to work under the Lead GP and help drive the practice forward.

You would be ably supported by the Lead GP as well as excellent clinical support from their ACP Paramedic, Clinical Pharmacist, ANPs, First Contact Practitioner, and Nursing & HCA teams. There is also a home visiting team meaning visits are at a minimum. Applications from newly qualified GPs are welcome and there would be addiditonal mentoring and support available.

The organisation are classed as a learning organisation and there are training practices within the group so are in a good position to support GPs in their first Salaried roles. The role is with a very forward thinking group who are constantly seeking innovative ways of improving their service offering and there are exciting future plans for the practice to move to new purpose built premises.

Key Duties

• Salaried GP Role
• 4-8 Sessions available
• Well managed workload of circa 15 consultations per session
• Home visits managed by home visiting services
• Patient list size of circa 6000
• Managed by Lead GP, Salaried GP, ANP, Pharmacist, FCP, Nurse and HCA team
• Support for newly qualified GPs
• Support for career development and furthering specialist interests
• Systm One practice

Package and Benefits

• £11,000 to £13,000 per session per annum DOE
• Indemnity covered
• 6 weeks annual leave
• 1 week CPD leave
• 1 day appraisal leave
• NHS pension enrolment

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Registered GP with the GMC, possess the right to work in the UK, included on NHS performers list
