Senior Occupational Therapist

The Role:

The ideal candidate needs to have a good experience in hospital-based adult care at a reputed hospital, with a proven track record in inpatient, outpatient, and post-operative rehabilitation.
This role focuses on enhancing patients' recovery, independence, and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' functional, physical, and cognitive abilities.
  • Develop and implement personalized therapy plans for adult patients in inpatient, outpatient, and post-operative settings.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), and overall function.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to deliver coordinated care.
  • Assist in discharge planning and provide guidance for home-based care and follow-up rehabilitation.
  • Document patient progress, treatment goals, and outcomes in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
  • Mentor and guide junior therapists and students, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy
  • 10 Years' Experience in the same capacity
  • Should be eligible to get DHA License
