Senior Pharmacy Manager (Pharmacist)

Rare and excellent opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Manager to join an established and well-respected independent Pharmacy group.

Serving the community of Glasgow and beyond, this client can offer the successful applicant a prestigious position to lead their team, and have the autonomy to run things while maintaining a reciprocal and mutual respect from the Director and Superintendent.

The branch is well-staffed with both Pharmacists and support staff, (including ACTs and ACDs), and also benefits from robotic dispensing, 24-hour collection point and dosettes made off-site in their MDS hub.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right calibre of candidate to really flourish and head up a 20 strong team, so your seasoned experience, detail to patient-safety, efficiency and professionalism will be the qualities that set you apart from other candidates.

*IP preferred - salary negotiable
*IP supported if the right candidate does not already have this qualification

42.5 hrs p/w Monday - Friday (with approx 1:3 Saturdays required with day off in the week)

Key Duties

• Proven track record of leading Pharmacy teams and delivering excellent patient care.
• Strong leadership skills with a passion for team development and excellent patient care.
• Business-minded with an interest in growing both NHS and Private pharmacy services.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Package and Benefits

• Salary based on 42.5 hrs p/w - negotiable for the right candidate, qualifications etc
• Holiday entitlement 6.8 weeks p/a
• GPhC fees paid
• Generous profit share bonus scheme

Key Skills and Qualifications

• MUST be a qualified Pharmacist in the UK
• MUST have GPhC registration
• Minimum of 5 years Pharmacy Management experience
