Are you an experienced, motivated GP looking for a rewarding role within a supportive and forward-thinking primary care team?

An excellent opportunity to join a forward thinking GP surgery based in Ilminster has become available for a Salaried GP

The surgery have built a close knit multi-disciplinary team composed of GPs, ANPs, Pharmacists and Paramedics. They also dispense to part of their list. The team are focussed on a strong work/life balance for clinicians, and have implemented a structure whereby GPs would have a well managed work-load, with minimal home visits.

Located in Ilminster, easily accessible from Taunton and Yeovil. Ample on-site parking is provided.

Key Duties

• Patient list of just under 5,000 with a low number of home visits, and great support from an experienced permanent clinical team including Nurses, ANPs and GPs
• Offering 4 sessions per week. Great flexibility on working days and session timings
• Strong existing team of permanent staff
• M home visits, and no extended hours necessary
• Successful dispensing practice

Package and Benefits

• £40,000-£46,000 per annum for a Salaried GP depending on experience and specialism
• Coverage of medical indemnity by the Practice
• BMA model contract

• 6 weeks holiday and 1 week study leave
• Support for development of special interest areas
