Our client is seeking a Specialist Physician in Neurology to join a modern outpatient clinic providing specialist neurological care to a diverse and growing patient population. The Opportunity
As a Specialist Neurologist, you will assess, diagnose and manage a wide range of neurological conditions within a busy outpatient setting. Working alongside family physicians and other specialists, you will provide expert consultation, develop individualised treatment plans and deliver ongoing care to patients with both acute and chronic neurological conditions.
Supported by experienced administrative teams and modern technology, you'll have the opportunity to establish a successful specialist practice within a highly collaborative healthcare environment.

Clinic Environment

Key Duties
You will be responsible for:
- Assessing and diagnosing a broad range of neurological disorders
- Managing patients with conditions including headaches, migraines, epilepsy, movement disorders, neuropathies, multiple sclerosis and other neurological diseases
- Developing personalised treatment and long-term management plans
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic investigations including laboratory tests, CT and MRI imaging
- Providing specialist consultations to referring physicians
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans where appropriate
- Educating patients and their families on neurological conditions and treatment options
- Maintaining accurate electronic medical records
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
- Referring patients for hospital-based investigations or specialist interventions when required
- Participating in continuing professional development and quality improvement initiatives
Candidate Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Medical degree from a recognised medical school
- Completion of an approved residency programme in Neurology
- Certification, or eligibility for certification, by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) in Neurology
- Eligibility for medical registration with the relevant provincial College of Physicians and Surgeons
- Membership in good standing with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA), or eligibility to obtain membership
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centred approach to care
- International applicants, including UK-trained specialists, are encouraged to enquire, subject to licensing eligibility
