Dispensing Optician vacancy, Hindhead, South West Surrey, basic up to c.£34,000 plus bonus, part time four days per week.

Job Summary

• A rare new prospect to join a prestigious sought after independent service provider near Hindhead, South West Surrey as a qualified Dispensing Optician working four days per week
• This is an ideal role for a fully qualified Dispensing Optician that is eager to join a practice that places more focus on patient care with Optometrists given longer than usual test times in a more relaxed patient centric practice environment
• From the outset you will enjoy state of art facilities reflected with the practice providing OCT and Optomap and an array of high end products including Tom Ford, Lindberg and Oakley to name but a few
• You will also be working alongside an experienced team of qualified Optometrists, managers and other dispensing assistants who all work diligently and with real care for their much valued and loyal client following
• In addition, this established caring service provider of choice will take real interest in your career goals and seek to ensure you have every opportunity to undertake further skills training and real positive progression long term!
• The surrounding areas are typical of the beautiful small towns of southern Surrey whilst offering excellent commuting options to London and the south coast

Key Duties

• Be a strong team player working alongside the practice manger to ensure a high degree of quality service is provided and subsequently reflected in ongoing practice performance

• Serve customers with care and passion offering bespoke recommendations to best suit their clinical, styling and budget needs
• This is a four day per week role (37.5 hours FTE contract)
• General working hours are 9am - 530pm Monday to Saturday (exact number of Saturdays TBC)
• Dispensing and adjusting spectacles to current prescriptions at all levels with time provided to enable a high level of exceptional patient care at every appointment.

Key skills

• GOC registered as a Dispensing Optician or very close to receiving your final qualification having completed all final assessments etc
• Right to work in UK
