Dispensing Optician vacancy, Oxshott, near Epsom, basic up to c.£35,000 plus bonus, full time.

• Just released new exclusive prospect working with a highly regarded independent optics service provider close to Oxshott, near Epsom as a customer focussed Dispensing Optician
• You will be operating with a tenured team of qualified Optometrists, managers and other dispensing staff who all work passionately and with real dedication for their valued long-standing clients
• This is a fantastic prospect a fully qualified Dispensing Optician to join a patient care centric team as reflected by their enviable reputation and service standards including extended appointment times to better serve patients one a more personal level
• From the get go you will be able to truly thrive in your work via state of art facilities being offered to the patients via OCT and Optomap and an array of high end products including Tom Ford and Lindberg

Key Duties

• Full time position to work five days a week inclusive of 37.5 hours

• General working hours are 9am - 530pm Monday to Saturday and please note some Saturday working is important to our client. Exact number of Saturdays are TBC but likely to be no less than 3 in 4 or at very best alternating Saturdays
• Must be confident in dispensing and adjusting spectacles to current prescriptions at all levels with strong clinical and commercial skills being of course essential
• Time will be provided to enable a high level of exceptional service at every appointment
• Be an agreeable and supportive team player in a close knit group of like minded optics professionals
• Work with customers with care and passion offering bespoke recommendations to best suit their clinical, styling and budget needs from a range of highly regarded lens and frames designers

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• GOC registered as a Dispensing Optician or very close to receiving your final qualification having completed all final assessments etc

• Right to work in UK
