Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon

Independently owned and award winning veterinary hospital seeking additional vet in Storrington. Would best suit a certificate holder or someone in the process of studying towards one. Salary up £60,000.

This fiercely independent veterinary hospital is in need of an additional vet to join their highly experienced clinical team. The successful applicant will slot into a friendly and well-established team of vets which includes multiple certificate holders, in an environment where everyone loves to discuss their cases and collaborate wherever possible to reach the best outcomes.

With CT scanner on site and a whole host of other cutting edge pieces of equipment, you really will have all the tools at your disposal to carry out the highest level of care that you can. The on site ECC team allow you to hand over to a familiar face if there is a need to hospitalise a patient, without the need to take part in OOH's duties yourself at any point.

This role would best suit someone with a clinical interest or bias that they were passionate to develop to the highest level. This could consist of a certificate that you have already completed or it could be a cert in progress, both options are welcome.

Key Duties

• 4 day working week
• 1 in 8 full weekends and 1 in 8 single day weekends
• Time off provided in lieu, resulting in 3 day week & 4 day weekend
• No OOH's, designated night team on site

Package and Benefits

• Salary range of £50,000-£60,000
• 7 weeks holiday including bank holidays

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• Must be registered with the RCVS
• Would suit a confident GP vet with a clinical interest that they want to nurture and develop
