A well-established, RCVS-accredited small animal practice in the Cambridgeshire/Norfolk border region is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and stable team. With a long-standing reputation in the community and a commitment to quality care, the practice offers a supportive, forward-thinking environment where vets are empowered to work up their cases and grow in their clinical interests.
Key Duties
- Full-time role: 32?36 hours per week, with set lunch breaks daily
- Flexible working hours negotiable for the right candidate
- 1 in 3 Saturdays (with time off in lieu)
- No out-of-hours or overnight weekend work
- Manage a varied caseload with clinical freedom to work cases through to completion
- Opportunities to pursue certificates and CPD in personal areas of interest
Package and Benefits
- Salary: £48,000 - £60,000 per annum (DOE, pro rata)
- 6.6 weeks paid holiday, including bank holidays
- £1,750 CPD allowance per year

Key Skills and Qualifications
- Registered MRCVS with experience in small animal first-opinion practice
- Comfortable managing a broad caseload and working cases to completion
- Skilled in using equipment such as digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab machines, and dental tools
- Strong communicator who thrives in a team-oriented environment
- Open to personal and professional development, including certification support
