A well-established, community-focused small animal practice in Melbourne's inner north is seeking an experienced Part-Time Veterinary Surgeon (20 hours per week) to join their growing team.
Due to continued growth and increasing client demand, this role has been created to extend consulting hours. For the right candidate, there is genuine potential for the position to evolve into a full-time role in the future.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident veterinary surgeon with at least three years' clinical experience who is looking to grow their skills, contribute meaningfully to a supportive clinic, and potentially step into leadership over time.
About the Practice
- Established small animal clinic with a loyal and engaged client base

- Caseload focused on cats and dogs only
- Primarily routine general practice cases, including consults, dentals, desexings, lump removals, and occasional medical workups
- Dedicated time allocated for callbacks and pathology follow-ups to support quality patient care
About You
- To be successful in this role, you will:
- Hold a BVSc or equivalent qualification and be eligible for registration in Victoria
- Have a minimum of three years' experience in small animal general practice
- Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills
- Build positive, lasting client relationships
- Maintain high clinical standards with a flexible and adaptable approach
