A fantastic new opportunity for an Optometrist to join a well established independent practice near Midhurst, West Sussex offering base salary up to £60,000.

This superb new role welcomes an Optometrist to join their well established and successful,family run practice near Midhurst on a full or part time basis.

You will be supported by fully qualified dispensing staff as well as state of the art equipment including OCT and Optomaps to support high quality level of testing.

The practice is also involved with specialist contact lens services such as myopia management and post cataracts with Optegra enabling you to develop your clinical skills and train on these services

With a highly successful eye plan scheme to cater to both private and NHS patients, this practice has developed a loyal customer base with many patients going to this quality Opticians for up to 30 years.

Based in a grade 2 listed building, this practice is at the heart of a conservation area and within commutable distance to a national park

Key Duties

• This is a flexible full or part time role with flexible shift patterns between Tuesday and Saturday
• Opportunity for alternate weekend work if preferred
• General working hours 9am - 5:30pm with one hour lunch break
• Testing to 40 minute test times including pre-screening, all completed by the Optometrist
• Some contact lens work required including soft fits, RGP, and myopia management with training provided in these areas
• Mainly sole testing role with the practice running mostly one clinic, sometimes two

Package and Benefits

• Base salary £50,000- £60,000 depending on experience
• Statutory benefits apply
