A proud, independent family practice located in semi-rural Worcestershire is seeking a skilled veterinary surgeon to join their team. Their goal is to deliver high-quality, tailored, services that are accessible to all. You will be joining a team of three vets, three nurses, and two receptionists.

Full-time or part-time options available.

Key Duties

• A combination of consultations and surgeries on a daily basis.
• Four-day workweek, Monday to Thursday, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with an extended lunch break.
• Shared weekend duties, with only one surgery on Saturday mornings (approximately 1/3 of weekends).
• On call: One weeknight per week until 23:00 and 1/3 Weekends.

Package and Benefits

• Competitive salary up to £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
• Five weeks of annual leave plus bank holidays, with time off in lieu for working bank holidays (1.5 hours in the morning).
• Accommodation and relocation assistance available.
• RCVS and one membership paid.
• Token CPD budget of £2,000 but this is frequently exceeded.
• Certificate support provided, including caseload and funding.
• Option to have your birthday off.
• Willing to negotiate additional details to suit your needs.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• RCVS registered.
