Finding Pharmacist Jobs in Stoke-on-Trent
Starting your career as a newly qualified pharmacist can be an exciting step, but finding the right employer and the right support can make a huge difference.
When Somayeh Talebibereshneh began searching for pharmacist jobs in Stoke-on-Trent, she was contacted by Paige Swales at Prospect Health.
With Paige’s support throughout her job search and interview preparation, Somayeh successfully secured a new pharmacist role in Stoke-on-Trent and is now enjoying the opportunity to develop her skills as a newly qualified pharmacist.
Finding the right pharmacist job in Stoke-on-Trent
Somayeh was looking for an employer that would give her the support and training she needed at the beginning of her pharmacy career.
Paige contacted her to discuss her experience, what she was looking for and the opportunities that could be suitable for her.
Somayeh said:
“Paige was fantastic. She helped me a lot to find a job and supported me through everything.”
For Somayeh, having someone available to guide her through the recruitment process was particularly important.
English is her second language, and she appreciated the time and patience Paige gave her throughout the process.
“She was so patient. English is my second language and she helped me a lot through everything.”
Support with interview preparation
Paige’s support continued when Somayeh was invited to interview.
She provided resources and guidance to help Somayeh prepare, giving her greater confidence ahead of meeting the employer.
“She helped me a lot and sent me links to help me get prepared for the interview.”
That support ultimately helped Somayeh secure the new position she had been looking for.
Starting her career as a newly qualified pharmacist
Somayeh started her new pharmacist role in August and has settled in well.
As a newly qualified pharmacist, one of the biggest attractions of the position was the opportunity to continue learning and developing within a supportive environment.
“I really like it. I’m a newly qualified pharmacist and I can learn a lot there.”
She is currently completing a structured training period, which is helping her develop her knowledge and confidence in the role.
The position has also worked particularly well for Somayeh personally, with her new workplace only around 10 minutes from home.
Would Somayeh recommend Prospect Health?
Absolutely.
Somayeh was so pleased with the support she received that she has already recommended Paige to friends who may also be looking for pharmacy opportunities.
“I’ve passed Paige’s number to my friends and told them to call her if they need a job. She’s really fantastic and she can help you.”
She finished by thanking Paige and the Prospect Health team for their support throughout her job search.
“Thanks for all your support and your help. I really appreciate it.”
