Director of Primary Care
I have spent over 20 years working in recruitment spanning the primary care, healthcare, veterinary, disability and education sectors. Having started out as a Recruitment Consultant initially, I have worked in a variety of roles up to my current role as Director heading up our Primary Care offer to clients and candidates – this covers a full range of services under our ‘Total Workforce Solutions’, including locum, contract, staff bank and permanent solutions…
“We first reached out to Prospect Health in March 2025, and by July we had begun working together to align our recruitment needs. Before partnering with them, we faced challenges in filling key locations at the volume required, controlling placement fees, and managing candidates’ expectations around remuneration and relocation to Canada. Prospect Health has done an excellent job preparing candidates for their transition, while ensuring alignment with our mandates and expectations. Working with Ashley and the Prospect Health team has been smooth and efficient, low touch from our side, but high value in return…”
“Working with Ese has been excellent. Previously, I handled recruitment on my own along with the practice manager, but Ese has made the process so much easier. Their webinars and job adverts are really effective. Although Ifrah hasn’t officially started yet, she seems very happy with the experience so far. I would definitely recommend their services”
“Prospect Health was instrumental in helping us find the right doctors for our clinics. Prior to working with them, we had tried multiple local agencies in Australia with little success. Their innovative approach, including webinars and targeted job advertisements, made a real difference in attracting qualified doctors. The Doctors placed are thriving in their roles and from all reports, our doctors feel happy and supported. We would absolutely recommend Prospect Health to any practice looking to recruit top talent.”
State Manager
I have been thinking about relocating myself and my family to Toronto to practice as a GP for a while. I have friends who are living in Toronto and they are often telling me how amazing the lifestyle is and what the country and Toronto specifically has to offer.
I first came into contact with Ashley at Prospect health following an email he sent me regarding GP Jobs in Canada and I decided to give him a call.
Ashley has been fantastic and extremely patient throughout this entire process so far.
Of course, it is a huge decision to consider migration, and one to consider deeply, especially with your family. He was very approachable and easy to talk to. He was enthusiastic even, although he himself has never worked in Canada. The best piece of advice he gave me, I still remember even now. He said ‘lead with your children’, prior to my scheduled meeting. And indeed, so far, so good.
Ashley was very well organised and provided me with very thorough information, every step of the way.
Ashley knows a lot about Canada’s licensing process, contracts, visa application, etc. He is very honest and trustworthy, and I have felt
Ashley has been an outstanding facilitator and mediator throughout the whole application process, he has arranged meetings with my prospective employer, one on one contract reviews, responded to queries promptly and followed up my application at timely intervals.
Overall, Prospect Health’s mediation/ ongoing support during this transition phase has timely and professional and I would recommend them to other GPs looking to make the move to Canada.”
A massive thank you to Prospect Health for all your hard work, patience, and support throughout this process.
I know there were a few wobbles along the way from me however you were always available to reassure and then chase up on my behalf.
Your support with contract negotiations at the start of the process gave me a lot of confidence to ask for what I needed to make this move to the other side of the world work.
It was a big step but I can’t recommend and thank you enough and I have already recommended you to a few friends as it is!
I would like to personally thank Prospect Health for everything thus far providing an excellent service in making my move to Australia as smooth as possible.
Specifically, I have been impressed by your cheerful, polite and respectful manner towards me and always being helpful, approachable and willing to find out the answers to my queries.
I would definitely recommend you to prospective doctors thinking about relocating overseas.
My contact at Prospect health is one of the best and really thorough, hard working guys at Prospect Health. He is extremely dedicated to his work. He provided us a focused “one to one” placement service. He ensured the options best matched to our needs and cultural fit. Not only this he also ensured that the employers and candidates are the optimum match.
He is always very enthusiastic to help and would always pay great attention to details. He is very flexible and will even out of the way to address your concerns and arrange meeting to navigate you to the new unknown journey if you are a busy family like us. I will say he is good listener and a visionary too.
Beside all, he was very friendly and pleasant. He is a take-charge person who kept us motivated too, and always came up with some creative solutions to any complexities we had in the process. Finally, He is totally worth recommending. I would recommend him 100% due to his patience and being calm even in a stressful situation. Good Luck and all the best!
Excellent communication, very knowledgeable, professional and patient. Thanks for all the hard work through this process Prospect Health
I had the idea of moving to Australia initially for a year to work as a GP and I came across Prospect Health. Once I made the decision to go ahead with the plan to work in Australia I was guided though the somewhat daunting series of steps required from initial identification requirements, to the registration process with AMC, RACGP, AHPRA etc. and I was able to keep in frequent contact whenever needed. I was also helped with the final steps of getting a provider number and tax file number / ABN / GST numbers which are needed before starting work.
I am working in a medical centre in South Australia and am finding it an enjoyable place to work, working with a mixture of walk in patients and some who are becoming more familiar. I see mostly patients on a “first available doctor” basis but do have a limited number of pre-bookable appointments. I have immediate access to XR, CT, radiology including interventional radiology on site, and enjoy undertaking procedures in the treatment room such as suturing.
I find that working full time with a reasonable number of out of hours consults generates an income that compares
