Pharmacist/ Manager opportunity in Cambridgeshire - No VISA available

• Location: Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire
• Contract Type: Self-Employed Preferred (Full-Time) IRO £28 per hour
• Hours: 45 hours per week
• Dispensed Items: 6,500 per month
• PMR System: Proscript

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled Pharmacist/Manager to join my clients team. They provide a wide range of both private and NHS services and are looking for a dynamic individual to lead our pharmacy and manage day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy, managing a small team of 2 dispensers and 1 counter assistant.
• Dispense medications and ensure accurate and efficient processing of prescriptions.
• Provide excellent customer service, offering professional advice on health-related queries.
• Manage and maintain stock levels, ensuring medication and supplies are readily available.
• Ensure all NHS and private services are delivered to a high standard, including:

Private Services: Weight Loss, Travel Clinic, Antimalarials, Blood Pressure Monitoring, Dossette Box.

NHS Services: Sharps Disposal, Palliative Care, Repeat Prescriptions, Morning After Pill, NMS, Supervised Consumption, Unwanted Medicine Disposal, Free Health Advice, Pharmacy First Service, Delivery Service, Community Dosage Service.

Oversee the efficient running of the pharmacy, ensuring high standards of patient care, compliance with regulations, and overall service delivery.

Requirements:

• Registered Pharmacist with valid GPhC registration
• Previous experience in community pharmacy is highly desirable
• Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate a small team
• Excellent communication skills with a passion for patient care
• Experience with Proscript PMR system (preferred)
• The ability to work independently and take ownership of the pharmacy's operations
• The role is self-employed, candidates with no visa requirement are preferred

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 09:00 - 18:00
• 45 hours per week (must be flexible for occasional changes).
