Second Pharmacist - Independent Community Pharmacy (Essex)
We are seeking a motivated and service-driven Second Pharmacist to join a busy, well-established independent community pharmacy located in Essex (CM1 area).
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive and forward-thinking team committed to delivering outstanding patient care and clinical services.
About the Role
- Position: Second Pharmacist
- Contract: Self-employed (preferred)
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 18:30
- 1 in 4 Saturdays, 09:00 - 12:30
- Remuneration: £24 - £26 per hour (based on experience)
- Prescription volume: Approximately 17,000 items per month

Team Structure
You'll be joining a well-supported team that includes:
- Pharmacist
- Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT)
- Pharmacy Technician
- Two Dispensers
- Trainee Dispenser
- Two Blister Pack Assistants
- Counter Assistants
