Dispensing Optician Opportunity - Nottingham - Circa £32k FTE negotiable DOE

A busy, well-established optical practice in Nottingham is currently seeking a GOC-registered Dispensing Optician to join its dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified DO to thrive in a dynamic, patient-focused environment alongside a strong, supportive group of professionals.

The practice is home to an experienced team, including other Dispensing Opticians and Contact Lens Opticians, fostering a collaborative and cohesive workplace culture. With a flexible, strengths-based approach to staff development, team members are encouraged to play to their individual abilities and grow in areas they are most passionate about.

Key Duties

• Dispensing prescription eyewear accurately and professionally
• Advising patients on lenses, frame selection, and styling to suit their needs and preferences
• Measuring and fitting glasses to ensure visual effectiveness and comfort
• Supporting trainee dispensing staff and contributing to their development
• Ensuring all dispensing activities meet clinical, legal, and professional standards
• Handling adjustments, repairs, and aftercare services to maintain excellent patient satisfaction
• Collaborating with Optometrists and the wider team to deliver a seamless and high-quality patient journey
