Optometrist, full or part time, independent, No weekends!, basic up to £70,000 plus bonus.

A superb weekday-only optometrist opportunity near Manningtree, in the Tendring district of Essex. This store is proudly fully independent with an excellent team of dedicated optics professionals

The successful applicant will enjoy options for both full and part time working two to five days per week as well as great professional freedom via the modern forward thinking business owners who treat colleagues like family!

Extended test times are provided to ensure consistently excellent levels of patient care alongside state of art facilities including OCT, digital records and phoropters so you can sit back and relax and focus purely on your patient's clinical needs

Key Duties

• Offer consistently excellent thorough examinations within 30 minute intervals (pre-screens provided via support team)
• Undertake week day only shifts anything from two to five days per week within the working hours 9am-5pm (37.5 FTE contract)
• Serve a much valued mixed NHS and private slightly more affluent patient base with care and personality across up to 3 sites depending on hours.
• Limited contact lens worked required (if any) at all dispensing services are provided via qualified Dispensing Optician team and highly experienced Optical Assistants

Package and Benefits

• Base salary £55,000 - £70,000 FTE
• Lucrative bonus scheme worth c.£3,000-£4,000 annually

Key Skills and Qualifications

• GOC registered as an Optometrist or be eligible to register in the upcoming months
