Are you an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon looking for a role where you can genuinely practise high-quality medicine, work cases up thoroughly, and be part of a supportive, forward-thinking team?

We're working exclusively with a highly respected independent veterinary practice in Kent that is continuing to grow due to increasing demand and an expanding first-opinion and referral caseload. This planned growth position offers the opportunity to join an established and collaborative veterinary team within a modern, well-equipped environment designed around excellent patient care and sustainable workloads.

Whether you're an experienced GP vet, certificate holder, or Advanced Practitioner, this role can be tailored around your clinical interests and career aspirations.

The Opportunity

This is a practice that prioritises quality over volume. Clinical schedules are structured to allow vets the time and support needed to deliver excellent patient care without feeling rushed.

You can expect:
  • Minimum 20-minute consultations with protected administration time
  • Strong and experienced RVN support
  • Time and autonomy to work cases up thoroughly
  • A varied caseload including advanced diagnostics and surgical procedures
  • Well-organised clinical days with clear communication and handovers
  • A collaborative culture where veterinary surgeons, nurses and support teams work closely together
  • Flexibility to develop a consult-focused role if preferred

  • In-house CT scanner
  • Advanced ultrasound equipment
  • Laparoscopic and endoscopic surgery

  • Specialist support through visiting and virtual referral networks
  • Separate dog and cat facilities
