Are you a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon looking for a role that offers a genuine work-life balance, a supportive clinical team and the opportunity to develop your interests in medicine and diagnostic imaging?

We are recruiting on behalf of a friendly, independently run small animal practice in the London area, which is looking to welcome an experienced Vet to its established clinical team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Vet who enjoys consults, internal medicine and ultrasound, and who would value working in a practice where development and clinical interests are actively encouraged.

The Role

The practice is looking to maintain an established four-vet structure following a recent team change, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to become an important part of a stable and experienced clinical team.

The role has a strong medicine-focused caseload, making it particularly well suited to a Vet with an interest in internal medicine, diagnostics and ultrasound.

You will have access to recently upgraded equipment, including:

• Modern ultrasound equipment
• Laser therapy
• AI fetal analysis equipment
• Excellent clinical facilities to support a varied first-opinion caseload
• Working Pattern
• Monday to Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm
• No weekend work
• No out-of-hours
• No bank holiday commitment
• Very occasional sole-charge work
• Two Vets on site most days
• Excellent work-life balance

The Team

You'll be joining an experienced and supportive team comprising:

• 3 Veterinary Surgeons
• 3 RVNs
• Student Nurse
• Dedicated reception and management support

The team works collaboratively, with strong day-to-day support and plenty of opportunity to discuss cases and share clinical knowledge.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Requirements

• RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
• Experience in small animal practice
• Confident managing a general first-opinion caseload
• Strong interest in medicine and/or diagnostic imaging
• Comfortable with consultative work and internal medicine cases
• Interest or experience in ultrasound would be advantageous
• Able to work effectively as part of a close-knit clinical team
• Comfortable with very occasional sole-charge responsibility
• Keen to continue developing professionally and clinically

Package and Benefits

• Salary of £45,000 - £65,000 DOE
