Veterinary Surgeon

An exciting opportunity for a Senior Veterinary Surgeon or ambitious 2+ year qualified Vet to join a highly regarded independent practice, offering up to £70,000 alongside excellent clinical support and genuine opportunities for professional development.

Are you an experienced small animal Vet looking for a practice where clinical quality, client relationships and continuity of care genuinely matter?

Or perhaps you're a confident 2+ year qualified Vet who is ready for the next step and wants the opportunity to develop clinically within a supportive, independent practice?

This could be an excellent opportunity for you.

We are working with a highly regarded, independent small animal practice that has built an excellent reputation within its local community. The practice has grown considerably since its establishment, while retaining its strong ethos around personalised care, clinical standards and building long-term relationships with clients and their pets.

The Opportunity

The practice is looking for either a Senior Veterinary Surgeon or an ambitious Vet with 2+ years' UK small animal experience to join its friendly and established team.

This is not simply a role where you'll be expected to work through a busy consult list.

The practice places a huge emphasis on continuity of care, with vets developing their own client base and building long-term relationships with the pets and owners they look after.

You will have the opportunity to take ownership of your cases, develop your clinical interests and play an important role in the continued development of the practice.

For the right individual, there is scope to take on greater responsibility and help shape the clinical direction of the practice as it continues to grow.

The practice has deliberately invested in creating a modern environment, with spacious clinical areas, purpose-designed client facilities and equipment to support a broad range of first-opinion clinical work.

The Role

You will be involved in a varied small animal caseload, with the freedom to develop your own areas of interest.

The practice operates around continuity of care, allowing vets to build genuine relationships with their clients rather than constantly seeing different patients. Consultations are structured to allow appropriate time with clients, with the practice placing considerable importance on communication and personalised care.

For a Senior Vet, this could be an opportunity to have a meaningful influence on the clinical development of the practice.

For an ambitious 2+ year qualified Vet, the practice offers the opportunity to develop your confidence and clinical skill set with experienced colleagues around you.

If you're a Senior Vet looking for a new challenge, or a 2+ year qualified Vet ready to take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today for a confidential conversation about the opportunity.
