An established and growing independent first opinion practice is seeking an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and supportive team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident GP vet looking to work in a well-equipped practice with strong clinical standards, modern facilities, and a genuine focus on professional development.

You'll join a progressive, five-year-old independent practice experiencing consistent year-on-year growth. The role involves a varied caseload of consultations, medical work, and routine soft tissue surgery, with a roughly 50/50 split between consults and surgery (with flexibility to lean towards medicine or surgery depending on your interests).

The practice is exceptionally well equipped, offering advanced diagnostic and surgical facilities including a CT scanner and virtually everything expected of a modern veterinary practice. Standard consultation times are 20 minutes, allowing for high-quality patient care, and certificates or further development are actively supported.

This role would suit a GP vet with 2+ years' experience who is confident managing a broad first-opinion caseload and enjoys working collaboratively within a close-knit team.

• Full-time ideally around 40 hours per week (flexibility available)
• Practice hours: MondayFriday 9am6pm, Saturday 9am12pm
• 1 in 4 Saturday morning rota only (no additional out-of-hours)
• Some sole charge responsibility at weekends
• On-site parking available
• Located in a quieter coastal setting with a relaxed pace of life

A trial day forms part of the interview process, and accommodation is available for up to three months to support relocation if required.
