Veterinary Surgeon

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established, RCVS-accredited small animal practice in Brighton. This role is ideal for a vet who enjoys consulting, client interaction, and community-focused care, within a supportive wider team structure.

This position is based within a small, friendly branch practice, offering sole charge responsibility while still benefiting from the backing of a larger, highly experienced clinical team and central hospital.

  • Competitive salary £54,000 - £59,000 FTE DOE

Key Duties

  • Deliver high-quality consult-only veterinary care for small animals
  • Build strong client relationships within the local community
  • Work independently in a sole charge setting
  • Collaborate with the wider clinical team and referral hospital when required
  • Maintain high standards of patient care and client communication

Working Pattern

  • Part-time, flexible hours (to be discussed)
  • Sole charge role within a branch setting
  • No surgical duties
  • No out-of-hours commitments

Key Skills, Qualifications and Requirements

  • BVSc or equivalent qualification recognised in the UK
  • RCVS registration (or eligibility)
  • Experience in small animal practice
  • Strong communication and client care skills
  • Comfortable working in a sole charge environment
  • A proactive, personable approach with a focus on community engagement
