We're working with a highly regarded independent small animal practice in West Sussex that is looking to welcome an additional Veterinary Surgeon to its friendly and experienced team.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon who wants to work within a genuinely independent practice where clinical decisions are made locally and vets are given the opportunity to build strong relationships with their clients.

You'll be joining a small but experienced team and will have the opportunity to work across a varied first opinion caseload, including routine consultations, preventative healthcare, dentistry, neutering and surgical cases.

The Team

You'll be joining a small, experienced and supportive clinical team, including the practice founder alongside experienced Veterinary Surgeons and nursing staff.

The practice places a huge emphasis on friendliness, trust and providing vets with the time to deliver the standard of care they believe in.

Rather than operating within a large corporate structure, the team is locally managed, with decisions focused on patients, clients and the local community.

About You

We're looking for a confident Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys first opinion practice and wants to work somewhere that genuinely values the relationship between vet, client and patient.

You'll ideally be comfortable managing a varied caseload and have an interest in both medical and surgical cases.

This role could suit an experienced GP vet looking for a more personal and independent working environment, or an ambitious vet who wants to develop their skills within a supportive team.

Most importantly, you'll be someone who shares the practice's values around excellent patient care, honesty, friendliness and putting clients first.
