Veterinary Surgeon Progressive, Well-Resourced, Large GP Practice No OOH Flexible Rota

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join one of the UK's largest and most respected GP small animal practices, located in a thriving and well-connected area.
What began as a three-vet team has expanded to a highly competent and collaborative group of 16 full-time vets, supported by a robust nursing and admin team. Despite its size, the practice retains a true GP ethos, with minimal referral and a strong focus on in-house case continuity.

The position offers flexibility, with full-time hours (41.5/week including paid lunch break), but part-time or weekend-only roles may also be considered. Saturdays are worked 1 in 4 (8:30am5:30pm) and Sundays 1 in 4 (9:30am4:30pm), with time off in lieu during the week. There is no out-of-hours requirement.

• 15-minute appointments as standard (with flexibility)
• Daily ops: each vet has one dedicated surgical day per week, with three vets in theatre most days
• Consult-only roles can also be accommodated
• Fully supported environment never truly sole charge during the day
• Complete clinical freedom with ongoing support and CPD
• Ideal Candidate
• A confident small animal GP vet with 2+ years' experience
• Comfortable managing a basic caseload independently
• Team-oriented, with good communication skills
• Interest in further development or certificates encouraged but not essential
• Not suitable for new graduates.
