An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, supportive and well-established independent veterinary practice in Ripon, working primarily across a flexible weekend rota.
This is an ideal opportunity for a vet looking for greater flexibility, whether you are seeking occasional weekend work alongside another role, regular Saturdays or Sundays, or a more frequent weekend commitment.

The Role
- Permanent Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon position.
- Weekend-focused role with flexible working options.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Requirements
- Qualified Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon.
- MRCVS or eligible to register with the RCVS.
- Some post-graduate clinical experience preferred.
- Confident managing a varied small animal caseload.
- Passionate about delivering high standards of patient care.
- Strong communication and client-care skills.
- Motivated to continue developing clinically.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
- Reliable and flexible approach to weekend working.

Package and Benefits
- Salary of £40,000 - £60,000 DOE.
- Flexible weekend working arrangements.
- 31 days' annual leave including bank holidays, pro rata.
- £2,000 annual CPD allowance, increasing to £2,500 for Advanced Practitioners, plus 5 days' CPD leave, pro rata.
