Would you like the opportunity to help shape the future of a growing equine service, enjoy complete clinical freedom and potentially progress into a leadership or partnership position?

Prospect Health is working with a well-established, independent veterinary practice near York, North Yorkshire, to recruit an experienced Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join its friendly and supportive team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident equine or mixed practice Vet who is passionate about providing high-quality clinical care and would welcome the chance to have a real influence on the development of a thriving equine department.

Our client is flexible in its approach and is happy to tailor the position around your clinical interests and ambitions, whether you are looking for a predominantly equine role, a genuine equine and small animal mix, or primarily equine work with occasional small animal cases.

Joining an established and growing equine team, you will have the chance to become an integral part of a genuinely independent veterinary practice that values clinical freedom, collaboration and long-term client relationships.

The practice has an excellent reputation within the local equestrian community, looking after a loyal client base and providing comprehensive first-opinion equine veterinary care.

  • Support for new ideas, initiatives and further professional development
  • Opportunity to undertake mixed equine and small animal work if desired
  • This is particularly attractive for an ambitious Equine Vet who would like to take greater ownership of their clinical work and contribute to the longer-term success of an independent practice.
