Fantastic opportunity to join a well established and well regarded independent practice as a Salaried GP in the Banbury area

This is a friendly and well managed, independent practice which has a traditional GP Partner structure. The practice operates from a single site which is purpose built and offers free parking on site. The practice is often involved in teaching and you would be encouraged to pursue your special interest areas too.

The role is an ARRS funded position so you must be within 2 years of CCT and not had a previous substantitive position within General Practice. There is a flexible session arrangement available, with anywhere from 5 to 8 sessions per week considered.

You will benefit from a stable and friendly team which consists of GPs, ACP, Pharmacists, Nurses, HCAs and a full admin team. The workload is well managed and there is no duty Dr rota, there is also a low rate of home visits due to the younger patient demographic. The practice is supported by a community team too.

The location of the practice is conveniently located near the M40 which makes it suitable to commute from surrounding areas including Bicester, Warwick, Leamington Spa and Daventry. You are welcome to come to the practice for a chat & walk around.

Key Duties

• EMIS (training can be provided)
• 15 appointments in the morning 12 appointments in the afternoon
• Low home visits
• On site parking
• Excellent clinical and clerical support teams in place

Package and Benefits

• £10,900 per session per annum
• NHS Pension enrolment
• 6 weeks annual leave pro rata
• 1 week CPD leave pro rata
• MDU fees covered
• Contract closely follows the BMA model contract

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• GMC registered GP
• Included on the NHS Performers List
• Right to work in the UK
• Must be within 2 yeas of CCT
• Cannot have held a substantitive GP position previously
