Veterinary Surgeon

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established independent practice in the Pulborough area. This role would suit a confident all-rounder with at least 4-5 years' UK small animal experience who enjoys the variety of branch practice, is comfortable with sole charge, and is confident performing routine surgical procedures.

Working across branch practices, you'll become part of a friendly, supportive team that values high clinical standards, continuity of care and excellent client relationships. Key Duties

• Deliver high-quality first-opinion veterinary care
• Manage a varied caseload of consultations and routine surgery
• Perform routine soft tissue procedures and dentistry
• Confidently undertake sole charge when required
• Build strong relationships with clients through excellent communication
• Work collaboratively with the wider veterinary and nursing teams
• Maintain high clinical and professional standards

Working Pattern

• Full-time position (40 hours per week)
• Shared rota including early and late shifts
• Participation in weekends and bank holidays on a shared rota
• No out-of-hours commitments

Key Skills, Qualifications and Requirements

• MRCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon (or eligible)
• Minimum 4-5 years' UK small animal practice experience
• Confident all-round GP vet
• Comfortable working sole charge
• Competent in routine surgery and dentistry
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• Team player with a proactive and positive attitude
