This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a newly developing niche in the market, delivering exceptional care to clients overnight while supporting pets in need.
About the Practice:
- Independently owned, open for 2 years, with a close-knit team
- Fully equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, and endoscopy (to be purchased)
- Day team of 3 vets and 5 nurses, expanding to a 4-vet OOH team
- Modern facility designed for efficiency and excellent patient care
- Strong focus on clinical excellence, teamwork, and professional development
The Role:
- OOH roster: 19:00-08:30, 7 nights on / 14 nights off
- Sole charge responsibilities supported by experienced RVNs
- Flexible approach to case management and clinical decision-making
- Opportunity to shape a growing service and influence practice development
- Support for CPD (£2,000 allowance) and additional professional growth
Candidate Requirements:
- Small animal experience required, ideally 2+ years UK practice
- Newly qualified candidates will not be considered
- Confident with emergency and critical care cases
- Excellent communication skills and team-oriented approach
