Prospect Health is recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon in Aberdare to join an exciting new small animal practice backed by a successful and well-established independent veterinary team.

A Brand-New Clinical Environment

The new Aberdare practice has been designed to provide the team with the equipment and facilities needed to deliver a high standard of patient care.
Facilities will include:

• Dedicated surgical theatres
• Digital X-ray
• In-house IDEXX laboratory
• CT scanner
• Endoscopy equipment
• Therapeutic laser
• Full dental suite
• Separate isolation facilities

The practice is committed to continued investment in both its people and its clinical capabilities, giving Vets the opportunity to develop their skills and work up cases to a high standard.

About the Practice

Although this is a newly opening site, you'll be joining an established independent veterinary organisation with several years of successful growth behind it.

The wider team has built a strong reputation for patient and client care, alongside creating a supportive and positive working culture.
As part of the Aberdare team, you'll have the security and support of an experienced veterinary organisation while also enjoying the opportunity to contribute ideas and help establish the culture and clinical approach of a brand-new practice.

The Opportunity

This role would suit a Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys being part of a collaborative team and wants the freedom to develop professionally within an independent environment.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Work with an excellent range of modern diagnostic and clinical equipment
• Manage a varied small animal caseload
• Contribute to the development of a brand-new practice
• Help shape clinical processes and standards

About You

We're looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who is enthusiastic about providing excellent patient care and enjoys contributing to a positive team environment.

You will ideally:

• Have experience within small animal practice
• Be confident managing a varied first-opinion caseload
• Enjoy working collaboratively with Vets, nurses and support colleagues
• Have a proactive approach to clinical development
• Value high clinical standards and continuity of care
• Be keen to contribute ideas and help a growing practice develop
