A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy and supportive small animal practice near Dewsbury. This is a fast-paced clinic handling a wide variety of medical and surgical cases, providing the chance to develop your clinical skills within a spacious and well-equipped environment.

Key Duties

  • Deliver high-quality veterinary care for small animals
  • Manage a variety of medical and surgical cases
  • Work collaboratively with an experienced and supportive team of vets and nurses
  • Contribute to maintaining excellent client relationships and clinical standards

Working Pattern

  • Full-time: 38 hours per week, 4-day working week
  • 2 Saturdays in 9
  • Part-time arrangements considered
  • No routine out-of-hours or emergency responsibilities
  • This schedule provides an excellent work-life balance while working in a dynamic and rewarding clinical environment.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Requirements

  • BVSc or equivalent qualification recognised in the UK
  • RCVS registration (or eligibility)
  • Experience in small animal practice, confident with medical and surgical cases
  • Positive, collaborative approach and commitment to excellent patient care
  • Keen to continue professional development, including certificate-level support
